Jean-Philippe Dauphin

Jean-Philippe Dauphin

Biography

Jean-Philippe Dauphin got a degree in directing from the Belgian film and theater school INSAS. He furthermore holds a diploma in philosophy from the University of Paris 8. He devotes his time to visual arts, music and writing.

He has written several scripts and an anthology of aphorisms, called « Les yeux en face des trous » and published by Maelström Editions.

As a director, he is determined to develop a personal approach and he tries not to separate different film genres (fiction, experimental, documentary), but to intertwine them instead, depending on the individual project.
