Jonathan Rochart was born in 1988 in Reims (France). He soon developed a curiosity for animation cinema. At the age of 18, he directed a short animation called Entre chien et chat ; an experience that led him to further pursue this career.
His interest for sketching and design led him to Brussels, where he does architectural studies. However, he chose a different path, in order to pursue his true passion: graphic arts. He therefore enrolls in the School of Graphic Research (ERG), focusing on narration and animation cinema.
Jonathan then joined the Zorobabel collective, where he is involved in every step of the production process in several animation units. He then produced a short film with Graphoui Production.
Following this positive experience, Jonathan developed a script about a family trio, called The Misunderstanding (Au travers des mots).
